GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Clinical case discussions revolving around interpretation and appropriate cost-effective utilization of laboratory tests. Students will meet twice per week to discuss pre-assigned cases.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES:
- Present, discuss and provide clinical pathologic correlations on various disease processes (EPOs: MK-4, MK-7)
- Interpret lab tests related to various diseases (EPOs: MK-4)
- Utilize lab tests to diagnose and manage various diseases (EPOs: MK-4, MK-6)
PROFESSIONALISM:
