Reporting completion/graduation rates for student athletes: Code of Federal RegulationsÌý
- Annually by July 1, the University produces a report containing the following information:

- The number of students, categorized by race and gender, who attended the University during the year prior to the submission of the report, and
- Within each sport—the number of those attendees who received athletically-related student aid, categorized by race and gender.
- The completion or graduation rate and if applicable, transfer-out rate of all the entering, certificate-or degree-seeking, full-time, undergraduate students described in , categorized by race and gender.
- The completion or graduation rate and if applicable, transfer-out rate of the entering students described in who received athletically-related student aid, categorized by race and gender within each sport.
- The average completion or graduation rate and if applicable, transfer-out rate for the four most recent completing or graduating classes of entering students described in categorized by race and gender.Ìý When the University has completion or graduation rates, and, when applicable, transfer-out rates for fewer than four of those classes, it discloses the average rate of those classes for which it has rates.
- The average completion or graduation rate and if applicable, transfer-out rate of the four most recent completing or graduating classes of entering students described in , who received athletically-related student aid, categorized by race and gender within each sport.Ìý When the University has completion or graduation rates, and, when applicable, transfer-out rates for fewer than four of those classes, it discloses the average rate of those classes for which it has rates.
- The University uses the IPEDS Web survey to report information on completion and graduation rates, transfer-out rates, if applicable, and other statistics for students who receive athletically related student aid.

Disclosing the rates for student athletes
- The University provides the report to each prospective student athlete and his or her parents, coaches, and counselor when an offer of athletically related student aid is made to the prospective student athlete.
Reporting the rates for student athletes
- The rates for student athletes are completed and submitted to the Department together with other Student-Right-to-Know data by the Graduation Rate Survey (GRS) deadline.
