Application Information
Admission to the Bioengineering graduate program is contingent upon the availability of openings for incoming students and is very competitive. Although the numbers vary from year to year, we admit approximately 15% of the students that apply. Admission preference is given to those who apply to the direct Ph.D. program. Consideration of applications for admission and financial aid begins shortly after theÌýJanuary 15Ìýapplication deadline, and students awarded admission will be notified by the beginning of March. Please be advised that applications are reviewed and considered as they are received, and only completed applications are considered. Applications will continue to be reviewed until all available admission slots are filled. Because of the sequential nature of courses in the graduate curriculum, full-time students are admitted for the fall semester of the academic year; full-time students are rarely accepted for the spring semester. All application materials indicated below must be sent to:ÌýCollege of Graduate Studies, UH 3240 MS 933, 2801 W.
