Off-Campus Access To Electronic Resources

Current University of Toledo students, faculty, and staff can access most of the Libraries' electronic subscriptions and databases from off campus. Authorized off-campus users can connect to subscribed resources through the . Records for all available resources are in the catalog and contain links that will prompt remote users for login information.

Community-based faculty (preceptors), emeritus faculty, and visiting scholars are not automatically extended remote access privileges. They must specifically request and receive approval through their affiliated college or department. Eligible requestors must be actively engaged in instruction and/or research benefiting the University.

  • Community-based faculty (preceptors) must request access and receive approval through the Office of Faculty Affairs on the Health Science Campus. The Director of Faculty Affairs will contact the appropriate Dean or Department Chair to confirm eligibility and seek approval.
  • Emeritus faculty and visiting scholars must request access and receive approval through the appropriate Dean or Department Chair. Fill out the Remote Access Request form听丑别谤别.

Walk-in users at Carlson Library on the Main Campus and Mulford Library on the Health Science Campus can access most subscribed resources.

Authorized use of the Libraries' subscription resources is stipulated in licensing agreements with publishers. Use for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.
