Resident Testimonials:

"The orthopedic residency at the University of Toledo provides a diverse array of experiences that cultivates graduated autonomy in a collegial environment. It's a family friendly program in which residents truly enjoy spending time with one another both in and out of work."ÌýÌýÌýÌý - Dr. Sawyer; PGY5

Ìý

"The best part of our program is resident camaraderie. We all work and exist harmoniously, and rely on each other every day. We spend a good deal of time together outside of work and grow very close through our training. All for one and one for all."ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý
Ìý - Dr. Scarano; PGY5

Ìý

"I could not ask for a better resident experience. Attendings are truly invested in our education and training. No shortage of research or operative opportunities. Great work/life balance. Best part of our program is the people who make it up."ÌýÌýÌýÌý - Dr. Yatsonsky; PGY4

Ìý

"I love being a resident at UT. The attendings and all residents are awesome to work with."ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý - Dr. Montalbano; PGY3

Ìý

"Toledo = hidden gem. Fantastic group of people. So many small things that are positives that make residency easier. Residencies are very similar across the country so it's the small things that make all the difference. To name a few - Free food, short commutes, friendly call schedule. I love it here."ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý - Dr. Brickman; PGY2

Ìý

"Never have I seen a program with a better relationship amongst residents (of different levels) and attendings. Resident autonomy and responsibility are both earned very early in training, which is shown in how confident and competent the senior residents behave and operate."ÌýÌýÌýÌý - Dr. Alexander; PGY1

Ìý

"This program has welcomed me with open arms since day 1. Residents, attendings, and staff alike have been so patient with me while I've been adjusting to a new city/hospital/role. Plus this program really allows you to prioritize having a life outside of ortho. Truly is a hidden gem!"ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý - Dr. Notorgiacomo; PGY1
