- Our staff includes neurologists, neurosurgeons, and clinicians with expertise in evaluation and management of epilepsy.Ìý Comprehensive surgical evaluation as well as investigational drug therapies are available for patients with intractable epilepsy.
- The Comprehensive Epilepsy Center is supported by a state-of-the-art EEG laboratory which provides 24/7 inpatient coverage for patients with seizure disorder and epilepsyÌý
- The Comprehensive Epilepsy Program supports a strong research component including investigational drug trials in addition to other investigator initiated clinical and laboratory research programs. Clinical research interests include studies on the morbidity and mortality of status epilepticus in the elderly, quality of life issues in people with epilepsy, and bone loss with antiepileptic drug use.
